Rainbow is all the rage!..? Maybe not, but I sure am into it. I am also loving the racer stripe jeans, and my new pair with a rainbow glitter stripe are so dang fun. And then I saw the bag… I freaked. Give me all the girl power, PLEASE.
How fun is this ‘fit?! My whole look, earrings and gold pendant included, is available at Hemline in Towne Center (BR, LA). The bag is from Rodeo Boutique (also in BR, LA) and the line is available online at Saks. Turns out, it’s actually a children’s line… I laughed at myself a whole lot when I found that one out today. But it’s such a cool clutch and only $68 so I’ll take this over an $895 Edie Parker bag for now. Also, you can find these jeans on sale at Lord and Taylor! Woot!
Give me all the silk tanks. Cami NYC is such a great brand for high end, high quality, lasting pieces that everyone needs in their closet. They’re perfect for day-to-night, office-to-party. Throw a on blazer and a funky skirt, or some baggy jeans and some sneakers and you have the most versatile top in your wardrobe.
I scored these Jeffrey Campbell beauty’s at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale this past August! Now they have them in this navy plaid and I’m so tempted to snag those. You know when you find a t-shirt you really like so you buy one in every color? That’s how I feel about these boots. AND LOOK HOW LONG THEY MAKE MY LEGS LOOK.
Are y’all in on the clear acrylic jewelry trend? I think it’s unique and a very subtle, yet du jour way to spruce up an outfit. Plus they go with everything. Check “yes”. Layering dainty necklaces is a daily occurrence for me. You’ll always catch me wearing my old evil eye and my new Tiffany’s charm. It was a college grad gift from my mom. We took a girl’s trip to NY this summer and she wanted me to have something special 🙂 We spent the afternoon in Tiffany’s on 5th Ave and it was magical. Now I can’t take the necklace off. For this look, I added a bright gold pendant to my every-day look to bring some brilliance up top.
The main reason I bought this bag was to remind myself to have confidence, both in my wardrobe and in myself. The fashion world is so competitive. So powerful and influential, but so so competitive. Every day I have to tell myself that I am a talented stylist, a local source of fashion inspiration, and maybe that even reaches past the people I think it does. Or maybe it doesn’t and that’s okay, too! I am growing. This blog is growing. I am constantly pushing myself to explore new styles. I am changing as quickly as the trends are. My goal is to give outfits the “umph” it needs to stand out. That “umph” is what gives me a major confidence boost. Maybe that’s superficial, but everyone has their own way of amping themselves up. Girl power is such a huge topic in society today, so here’s my attempt to instill it in myself. And now I’m spreading it to all of you! Encourage your peers. Love the work you do. Share your clothes with your friends (sometimes). Remember to believe in yourself and your abilities; one day, they’ll all pay off!
