Re-wear: Missguided Jacquard Set

Raise your hand if you love a good set! Sets have been popular for a while now, but it seems they’ve been revamped lately and are better than ever. I found this jacquard one on BIG sale from ASOS (the entire set is about $50 ooooh yes) and it’s still available for all of you! Wahoo!

And here it is! It’s a bit more voluminous than it looks online, especially on me since I’m short and curvy. I sized down in the top, and up in the skirt. You can find them here and here. My hole outfit was a steal, actually… And people act like I’m a sale shopper or something…

Earrings: Mignonne Gavigan (no longer online) || Shoes: Nordstrom Rack (no longer online, similar available here and here)

The best thing about a set is that you can break it up. Boyfriend jeans and a funky pair of heels was my way of giving this top a whole new look. It’s more chic, yet relaxed, yet sophisticated. I wanted minimal jewelry, so I went with my go-to asymmetrical gold drop earrings. And how COOL ARE THESE SHOES!? Look closely, they’re embroidered peacocks. Yes, please.

This skirt is suuuuper busy, so to wear for more day-to-day use I’ll pair it with some sandals or sneakers and a plain tee. White works just as well if you want to lighten it up, but going into fall I like to pull out this $10 basic black tee and new lace up sandals. I had been on the hunt all summer for a good pair of black sandals– these were well worth the splurge! Comfy, comfy, comfy. The black suede is also perfect going into the transitional season. If you’re into these, go a half size down! I even have a wide foot, but wanted them to be snug around the ankle so they wouldn’t rub. Also I want them in every color and the heel version so Rebecca Minkoff, if you’re reading this, I will gladly be your shoe model!!!
