Just a few more days until Christmas!! If you’re like me and would rather put together an outfit than wear a dress, this may be a good option for your holiday parties this weekend. I snagged this Mink Pink top at the coolest boutique in NOLA, Stone Free, and wanted to create a monochromatic look that was dressy enough to wear to Christmas parties or New Years Eve. Here goes it!
Top: Mink Pink || Skirt: MISA Los Angeles || Bag: H&M (old) || Shoes: Steve Madden (old) || Broach: Gypsy || Choker: Robert Roth || St. Micheal/Mary medal: Rixen || Moon and Star double chain: local artist at Melrose Trading Post in LA
Okay first off, HOW COOL IS THIS BROACH?! It’s hand made with materials from Turkey, as is all the jewelry from Gypsy. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous stuff. My mom has the pomegranate earrings and necklace collection… amazing. These pieces would make great gifts!
I’m loving the velvet trend right now. Especially during the holidays, it’s rich and festive and makes any outfit a bit dressier. I paired the top with this polyester tiered skirt to create some movement. I used the pink velvet heels as a neutral (because blush is totally a neutral now) and used dainty gold jewelry to play on the chunky gold heel.
Mink Pink, the brand of the top, is having 50% off select styles right now! My top is linked here.
This MISA skirt is technically out of season, so they don’t sell the exact skirt anymore but they’re made it in velvet for fall. SO cute! MISA is such a good brand for party clothes. Here is the skirt in velvet emerald (heart eyes) and here it is in a fun pattern. Notice that the back is longer than the front, which is awesome for my fellow big booty Judy’s 🙂
