Little Laces

I didn’t realize how long it’s been since my last post, so I apologize! Unfortunately my views for January-April aren’t even half of what I had for September-December… so within the first four months of my blog, I had almost three times as many views as I have now. Please help me get my name out by sharing my posts; all positive exposure helps! I appreciate all of you who check my site regularly, so share the love and share the blog 🙂

I’m not really a lace kind of gal, but when I found this J.Crew top last summer I couldn’t resist. The coral color is bold but and the lace is so subtle. The fabric looks pretty thick but it’s actually a little bit sheer, making it breathable and perfect for summer if you don’t feel like wearing tanks all the time! Both of the outfits I threw together are perfect for day to night plans if put with different accessories.

For a dressy casual daytime look, patterned shorts bring in more texture and bring in a little more life to the outfit. They’re the perfect spring/summer short; comfy and cool make for a good transitional piece from night to day if you put it with the right pieces. Instead of sandals, I’d suggest nude pumps with a thin heel strap for nightlife! Ear jackets are big right now and these crystal baubles are just delicate enough to wear during the day but are enough of a statement to wear at night.

White jeans are back and better than ever. I love bold pops of color, so I made this outfit otherwise monotone to really show off the color of this top. White jeans and a matching blazer are a great staple for spring and are the perfect way to dress up any top! These clunky heels are my favorite. The two toned straps match everything and the thick wood heel is surprisingly super comfortable. To add more texture and some edge, my feather necklace acts as a touch of my personal style. Plus the light grey hues are played on by the white of the blazer!
