Not-so Basic Beading

I apologize for missing yesterday’s post, but hopefully this one will make up for it! Oh, and sorry that the pictures are so lame, I was short of a photographer today. But on to the matter at hand! Last spring, my family and I were shopping in downtown Breckinridge, CO when I spotted the coolest beaded top. My mom tried to convince my not to buy it because she thought I would only be able to wear it once… Well mom, I’ve found a way to prove you wrong! Here are two of my favorite ways to style this seasonal top.  (I don’t suggest wearing it in the winter though, your arms might get a little cold!)

For a classic, black-and-white look, use a pair of very structured black short and some red lip gloss to give make the outfit pop. Tuck in the shirt or leave it untucked, whatever you want! My baublebar dangles match perfectly with the beading of the top, and my strappy clogs give the look a bit of an edge.

To the boho girl side of every girl: mix and match patterns! My favorite pair of pants gives an Indi-inspired look to this simple top and gives it a whole lot of color. With a pair of simple black flats and my new tusk earrings, this outfit is perfect for any occasion!
